When i try to open Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, i get following error;

I had a similar problem on my machine which drove me nuts. After trying various registry cleaners, I got some helpful IT support from the supplier of my PC which provided the info below which solved the ' LoadLibraryEx Startup.dll failed with error 193:' I was also getting the 0xc000007b error so both were eventually fixed.

First I unistalled the CS5 suite using the following products - http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Secondly I ran the sfc /scannow scan listed below
Thirdly, I restarted my machine and re-installed the suite   (its worth a try and you have nothing to lose)

1.Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
2.Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

sfc /scannow

The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

If this still doesn't work then I wish you the best trying to get it all sorted since I know its a brain drain.
